About Lifelines

Lifelines is the outdoor & experiential learning ministry here at UVM.  We're a non-denominational, Christian ministry open to every student, regardless of religious or spiritual background (In fact, a significant percentage of students involved aren't from Christian backgrounds!).  We help students to grow in character, in leadership, in relationship with God and in relationships with others.  We do this by offering free trips to students - hiking, canoeing, snowshoeing, rock climbing, rafting, kayaking.  On these trips, we'll usually run some really fun experiential learning programs to promote growth.  (For example, Rock Climbing makes for great conversations about trust, rafting requires teamwork and whitewater canoeing isn't much fun without patience!)

Our guides hold current certifications in every outdoor event they lead - so we stay safe and have a great time...

Beyond trips, we offer Lifegroups - weekly opportunities for students to connect, talk about life at UVM and open the Bible.  Other opportunities to connect come on Friday afternoon/evenings (incredibly fun times), Fall and Spring Getaways and any of the several skills trainings that we offer.

If you have questions or want to sign-up for one of our events, don't hesitate to email us!
