Guatemala Spring Break
Guatemala Spring Break
Lifelines at the University of Vermont is happy to offer a Spring Break Trip in 2012 to Guatemala for UVM students in partnership with Hope Renewed International, a non-profit that's helping to effect change for the poor and marginalized in Guatemala. Guatemala is one of the poorest countries in Latin America. Our trip is about loving and serving the people of Guatemala. One of Lifelines motto's is "Love people, Live the Adventure." As an outdoor ministry at UVM we enjoy many physical adventures but believe that the greatest adventure comes in loving others. In keeping with Lifelines philosophy, this trip will be used to help people grow in relationship with God, in relationship with others, in character and in leadership.
During the trip we will visit several different orphanages, both in the city and countryside, spend time at the Guatemala City Dump, go to the ghetto where we will be able to serve those in need.
If interested please attend the next informational meeting on November 8th.
